Who's this guy, anyway?
Well, that's me: Matthew Deacon, a.k.a. Matt, a.k.a. "hey you". I'm a husband, a father, a retired 80th level paladin tank, and a life-long sci-fi and fantasy geek. My first trip to a movie theater was to see Star Wars when I was 3-1/2... let's just say it had an impact.
I've been writing "fiction" (if you're generous enough with the term) on and off since first grade, but my dad was a science teacher and I studied a little of everything in college. I did the whole pre-med thing--including the MCAT--and started interviewing at med schools before I realized I didn't actually want to be a doctor after all.
